[*#sim0clock#]
Checks if the sim clock can be stopped. Sim clock stop is a kind of
stand-by mode which will save battery time. This code doesn't work with
software version 4.59.
*#92702689 -
[*#war0anty#]
Warranty code. You don't need the warranty code any more like you did with
some earlier phones - instead, now you can scroll through the information
like in any other menu. It has the same data as 8100- and 3100-series
phones with "Edit" button for purchase date, and "User data
transfer".
Menu:
-
Displays the serial number of the phone
-
Displays the month and year of manufacture (e.g.
0997)
-
Displays (if set) the date when the phone was
purchased (format: MMYY). You can set the purchasing date here, but be
careful what you write - you can do it only once.
-
Displays (if set) the date of the last repair
-

one phone to another (e.g. if the phone is broken). With 6110 you can

*3370# activates
the Enchanced Full Rate, after the phone has been turned off. EFR produces
better voice quality but also consumes more power.
#3370# deactivates the EFR, after the phone has
been turned off.
*4720# Activates
the Half Rate Codec, after the phone has been turned off. HRC produces
poorer voice quality but gives your battery better stand-by times.
#4720# Deactivates the Half Rate Codec, after the
phone has been turned off.
Enhanced Full Rate
will give you much better sound quality when you enable it. The new EFR
codec uses the ACELP compression technology. This technology allows for
much great voice quality in the same number of bits as the older Full Rate
codec. The older technology was called LPC-RPE.
Both operate at 13 kilobits, but you take up more space on the network, so
they can charge you more. Talk-time is reduced with about 5%
Half Rate
will give you poorer voice quality, which gives the service provider the
opportunity to have more calls on the network, and you might get a lower
charge from them. Will give you 30% longer talk-time.
